Campbell entered the Canadian market in 1930, and after 75 years, this market continues to represent one of our largest soup businesses outside the United States.
Today, Campbell Company of Canada is one of Canada's major food manufacturers. Established in 1930 in New Toronto, it was Campbell Soup Company's first foreign subsidiary. Campbell Canada operates two plants: a heat processed soup plant in Etobicoke, Ontario, and a frozen, foodservice and specialty food plant in Listowel, Ontario. Headquartered in Etobicoke, Campbell Canada employs approximately 1,500 people across the country.
Campbell Canada manufactures and markets a full array of Campbell's Red and White Condensed and Ready to Serve soups along with the well-known Canadian soup brand, Habitant. Across Canada, Campbell also markets Prego pasta sauces, V8 beverages, Pepperidge Farm cookies and crackers, Pace Mexican sauces and frozen foods and food service products, including the Dietcare Puree line of high quality frozen foods for healthcare institutions.
