
 
Philip Donne was appointed President of Campbell Company of Canada in June 2002. He is responsible for the strategic business direction and overall leadership of the Canadian subsidiary of Campbell Soup Company. He reports to Denise Morrison, Senior Vice President and President-North America Soup, Sauces and Beverages.
Philip’s background in the packaged goods industry includes more than 15 years with Kellogg Canada Inc., where he most recently held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Before that, he held a series of management and marketing positions with Kellogg in both Canada and Europe. Philip’s business and marketing experience also includes senior positions at General Mills, Duracell Canada, and Coca-Cola Foods. Philip was also President of the Cossette Communication Group advertising agency.
In 1998, Philip was recognized as one of “Canada's Top 40 Under 40,” an annual listing from Report on Business magazine. In 2003, Marketing Magazine honored Campbell Canada as one of 10 “Marketers That Matter.” In 2004, Advertising Age magazine featured Philip as the “Global Player” of North America in its annual “Global Players Report.”
Philip has served as Chair of the Food & Consumer Products Canada (FCPC) and Chair of the Association of Canadian Advertisers. He also has chaired the Advertising Standards Canada group and the Early Years Task Force on behalf of the Ontario government. He currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Obesity Network and also on the Board of the Grocery Industry Foundation… Together, which fights child hunger in Ontario. He is a Board Member of S. C. Johnson and Son, Limited, and has also been a Board Member of National Life.
In the community, Philip has served on the Board of Directors for the Daily Bread Food Bank and the Board of Councillors for Ontario's Promise. He also has served as Board member and Chairman of Kids Help Phone.
Philip earned his bachelor of science degree in microbiology from the University of Toronto, and his M.B.A. degree from York University in Toronto. He is also trilingual, having been immersed in both French and Italian languages during his European tenure.
