Campbell Employees Volunteer at World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015

News

Philadelphia will be in the world’s spotlight this September when Pope Francis visits the city. The World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia chapter had an official kick-off meeting today to celebrate the highly anticipated online volunteer registration for the Papal Visit and Campbell employees lent their support to the volunteer efforts.

“Our company was founded across the river in Camden, New Jersey in 1869. We have strong and deep ties to this region. And we recognize the power of supporting community events that bring people together and create real moments that will last a lifetime,” commented Mike Senackerib, Senior Vice President – Chief Strategy Officer as he emphasized the importance of volunteering.

Hundreds of Campbell employees will volunteer to make the Pope’s visit a success and Campbell will also provide food and drinks for the thousands of volunteers who donate their time and talents to the event.

With more than 10,000 volunteers needed for the World Meeting of Families Congress (September 22-25) and Papal Visit (September 26-27), individuals 18 years of age and older can now register here for the opportunity to volunteer.
