The team also offered samples of the square-shaped pasta to employees at World Headquarters, posting photos of the samples to social media to reinforce the prank.

Of course, SpaghettiSquares turned out to be just an elaborate April Fool’s Day joke, and while SpaghettiSquares were just as delicious as original SpaghettiOs, our beloved O’s are here to stay.
