Making a Difference in Our Communities

News

Spring is finally here and that means it’s time for one of our favorite events – Campbell’s Make a Difference Week. Each year, enthusiastic and dedicated Campbell employees across the globe provide more than 21,000 hours of volunteer service to those in need. Make a Difference Week is one of our largest volunteerism initiatives of the year.

Our company has deep roots in our communities, so this week is an important way for us to help plant seeds of positive change in the cities and neighborhoods where we live and work by volunteering our time and talents to help others.

Make a Difference Week starts today and runs through Friday, April 11. This week, many of our employees are volunteering at local food banks, community kitchens, children’s literacy programs and neighborhood centers at organizations ranging from the Food Bank of New Jersey and Cathedral Kitchen to Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey and the Center for Family Services.

Last year, Campbell’s Make a Difference Week saw more than 2,600 employees across 14 of our U.S. locations participate in 90 projects that focused on building and sustaining healthy communities. This year, we have over 3,000 employees volunteering approximately 4,500 service hours.

Thanks to the commitment of our employees, we can nourish and nurture our communities in ways that can’t be measured in dollars alone and further build our relationships with the neighbors we have worked beside for nearly 150 years.

How are you going to help others this year?
