Snow much fun with Snowbuddy
Campbell’s latest commercial, Snowbuddy, can be spotted on broadcast TV and digital streaming programs providing a little warmth and comfort.
“Snowbuddy was inspired by the experience of playing in the snow for hours and hours as a kid—immune to the cold, until all of a sudden, you aren’t,” said Linda Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of our Meals & Beverages division. “We captured the feeling of being chilled to the bone and then heading inside for a steaming bowl of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, which can warm you up like nothing else can.”
And just in time for the chillier days ahead, the team created limited-edition stackable snowman cans with our Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, available for a limited-time through the winter season.
Pledge to Save the Snow Day
What pairs best with a warm bowl of soup? Snow days! And our team is on a mission to save them. Through an online pledge on SavetheSnowDay.com, Campbell’s is calling on all who believe in shutting screens off and putting snow boots on to pledge their support to keep a cherished winter tradition alive.
“Campbell’s Soup obviously has loved the snow day for many, many years,” Chris Foley, President of our Meals & Beverages division, told USA TODAY. “For us, the idea of a snow day is really, really important, particularly now with a concern that everybody is on screens.”
Snacking with The Rachael Ray Show
We often talk about the holiday sides, but we can’t forget about the Campbell Snacks! Pepperidge Farm teamed up with The Rachael Ray Show to share some holiday snacking inspiration including Buffalo Goldfish Crunch with Pepperidge Farm Cheddar Goldfish, peanuts, pretzels, and potato chips, and Thanksgiving Cornucopia Crunch, with Cheddar Goldfish and Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Cubed Stuffing.
This Thanksgiving, Campbell’s, Pepperidge Farm and Swanson brands created a holiday side dish hub where first-time hosts could find no-fail recipes. And for those sides that didn’t come out just right, we launched Dinner Insurance. Through a partnership with Instacart, we delivered replacement side dishes to hosts in Manhattan.
Fighting childhood hunger with The Chunky Million Meals Challenge
On Giving Tuesday, the Campbell’s Chunky team partnered with GENYOUth, NFL players and CSL Esports to sponsor a virtual esports tournament that helps feed children in schools. The Chunky Million Meals Challenge Madden NFL 21 presented by Target tournament will be played in EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 21 and deliver 100 million meals to alleviate food insecurity among school-aged children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
