Campbell’s Ellen Kaden Receives Legal Momentum’s Aiming High Award

CAMDEN, N.J., May 05, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) –Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) Senior Vice President-Law and
Government Affairs Ellen Oran Kaden was honored by Legal Momentum with
its 2010 Aiming High Award. The awardrecognizes remarkable women
whose personal leadership has broken new ground for women in business.

Now in its 40th year of advancing the rights of women and girls, Legal
Momentum has hosted the Aiming High Awards for 10 years to highlight the
accomplishments of women and their signal contributions to the nation’s
most successful companies.

Kaden was selected for her accomplishments and leadership throughout her
career. Kaden has been a leader within Campbell since 1998. She is
Campbell’s chief legal officer and a principal advisor to the company’s
Board of Directors on legal and corporate governance matters.

Campbell has strived to build a distinctive and innovative culture that
embraces risk taking, innovation, trust, performance and accountability.
Women have been integral to building Campbell’s culture and driving the
company’s business performance.

Kaden is one of four women honored with the 2010 Aiming High Awards.

Prior to joining Campbell, Kaden was Executive Vice President, General
Counsel and Secretary of CBS Inc. Her accomplishments also have
encompassed academia and private practice. After serving on the faculty
of Columbia University School of Law, Kaden joined Cravath, Swaine &
Moore. She is a Trustee Emerita of Columbia University.
