New Facility Will Provide Fresh, Premium Soupmaker with 220,000
                 Sq. Ft. of State-of-the Art Capacity

EVERETT, Washington–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 4, 2007–Campbell Soup
Company (NYSE:CPB) and StockPot Inc. today officially dedicated the
company’s new 220,000 square-foot Everett Culinary Campus, which will
produce StockPot’s award-winning line of fresh, refrigerated soups and
chili. Congressman Rick Larson, King County Executive Ron Sims and
Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson were among the state and local officials
who participated in the dedication of the state-of-the-art soup-making
facility.

StockPot’s new Everett Culinary Campus will have a workforce of
approximately 350. At more than double the size of Woodinville, the
new Everett facility will provide the production capacity required to
meet anticipated demand for StockPot’s soup and chili.

In April 2005, the company reached an agreement with King County
to relocate from its Woodinville location in order to make way for the
Brightwater Treatment Plant, which was being planned at that time to
be built in Snohomish County. King County Executive Sims was
instrumental in developing the relocation incentive package to keep
the company in the three-county region. In August 2005, StockPot
announced plans to build a new Culinary Campus within South Everett’s
Seaway Business Park.

well as protect the area economy from a building moratorium for lack
of sewage capacity,” said Executive Sims. “It is rewarding to see the

economy.”

Engineering and architectural services for StockPot’s new 18-acre
Culinary Campus were provided by The Dennis Group, LLC. Construction
