2023 Days of Giving recap: $1.5 million donated to support more than 750 organizations

Community

We’re proud to share the results of our annual Employee Giving Campaign. During this campaign, employees are encouraged to donate to non-profit organizations and the causes that are important to them. Additionally, The Campbell’s Foundation provides a 100% match to all employee giving, and covers all processing fees, so every dollar directly supports the organizations our employees chose.

Giving Campaign Results

I care so I give to…

To raise awareness about non-profits that are meaningful to them, employees wrote down the organizations they supported on cards that were posted around our offices throughout the campaign. These causes include food access, education, youth programs, health and wellness organizations, and many more.

Here are some of the organizations our employees supported and why they matter to them.

Supporting our hometowns

In addition to financial donations, throughout the giving season, our office and manufacturing locations came together to care for their communities.

Employees at our Lakeland, Florida plant volunteered and raised funds for One More Child, an organization that supports vulnerable children and struggling families. The team spent a day sorting toys ahead of their Christmas event.

The R&D team in Canada set out to start a new holiday tradition that gives back to the community. The inaugural “Tree of Giving” was built using hundreds of Campbell’s soup cans. Every can contributed to the tree was donated to a local food bank.

A group of volunteers from the Beloit, Wisconsin plant donated time to helping their local Meals on Wheels branch assemble and deliver “Blizzard Bags” to seniors in our community. These bags included non-perishable food items, blankets, toilet tissue, and snacks to help seniors when volunteers cannot deliver in the winter months.
