Campbell’s Holiday Giving Scrapbook 2013

News

As the year draws to a close, Campbell employees worldwide are opening their hearts to help make the holidays brighter for their neighbors — and for each other. Here is a snapshot of just some of the toy and pantry donations that are making a difference in the communities our employees call home.

Campbell World Headquarters, Camden, NJ

Through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, World Headquarters employees collected more than 400 toys and helped to sort and organize donations. The toys will be a part of a Christmas Toy Shop where caregivers of 500 pre-selected families can shop and choose toys for the children in their care.

Pepperidge Farm

At the Norwalk, Conn., headquarters office, you’ll find a holiday giving tree for little ones served by the Family and Children organization. In addition, the team wrapped more than 400 gifts at the Carver Foundation community center and also participated in local breakfast and lunch programs to provide snacks for underserved children through the holidays.

Australia

The Arnott’s team donated 42 cases of Roadies chicken, 53 cases of Teddy Bear biscuits, 84 cases of V8 breakfast, 600 Chocolicious bite samples, and 1,658 cartons of biscuits, plus thousands of cans of soup, bottles of juice, and cartons of biscuits to the Salvation Army in Adelaide and the Foodbank.

Everett, Wash.

The Everett team spread the warmth – literally – with a November breakfast burrito fundraiser that netted more than $400 to help provide gifts for four local families adopted through Volunteers of America.

A bake and craft sale, including a gift basket raffle, raised an additional $1,100 for the program.

Canada

The Canada team collected toys to support LAMP Community Health Center and Women’s Habitat shelter for victims of domestic violence.

They also collected gently used coats, hats, mittens, blankets, and sleeping bags, which local business Gibson Cleaners will clean and donate to charity.

We are proud of our employees worldwide who have made the commitment to give back in their communities and to those in need. Learn more about Campbell’s corporate social responsibility initiatives here.
