Campbell recognized as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality

News

We are proud to receive our eighth perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI).

With more than 1.5 million members and supporters, the HRC is America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization. The annual CEI survey evaluates hundreds of businesses on their LGBTQ-related policies and practices including nondiscrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

Campbell’s success in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality. Campbell also earned a spot on the HRC’s 2017 Buying Guide for Equality, a guide to businesses, products and services that support LGBTQ equality.

“We are thrilled to have our commitment to LGBTQ inclusion recognized by the HRC with our eighth perfect score on its Corporate Equality Index,” said Elizabeth Morrison, Global Director-Workforce Diversity.

Campbell has made great progress on our journey to inclusion, but we always have work to do. Achieving recognition for our efforts is motivating and rewarding. Also this year, OPEN (Our Pride Employee Network) submitted the CEI survey, making the award that much more meaningful for our employees.

Bethmara Kessler, Senior Vice President of Integrated Global Services and an OUTstanding executive, became OPEN’s Executive Sponsor this year and says, “It’s an honor to have the opportunity to give back to our LGBTQ employees. I’m very proud to champion diversity and inclusion at Campbell.”
