There’s good news for Goldfish fans: you can now find the Finn & Friends gang within an arm’s reach, in your pocket and at your fingertips. The brand is connecting with consumers in new ways as it recently launched two mobile apps and a digital storybook, just in time for the holiday download rush.
“We wanted to understand new ways to get involved in our consumers’ lives and we felt like this was a great fit, as it brings Finn & Friends to more people and engages them with our brand,” said Jodi Farina, Brand Manager for Goldfish.
Finn & Friends star in:
Get Gilbert – Goldfish character Gilbert is lost in his bedroom and needs help! In the new mobile app for smartphones and tablets, players can help Finn navigate obstacles and make more friends along the way as he gets closer to rescuing Gilbert. The brand will advertise the Get Gilbert app in the new Angry Birds game (see below) and will link to it from GoldfishFun.com. Search for “Get Gilbert” in your device’s app store to download.
Angry Birds Special Appearance – Finn & Friends leader Finn will guest star as a “power up” option offering super speeds in the latest version of the Angry Birds mobile app, a worldwide franchise and one of the most downloaded mobile games of all times. The new offering from Rovio, Angry Birds Go!, is a racing game available since December 11, unofficially deemed “Bird Day” to mark the fourth anniversary of the Angry Birds launch.
Finn & Friends Mysteries Storybook – As the pages of this digital storybook turn, readers can use the interactive components to participate in Finn & Friends’ adventures. And with the photo booth feature users can snap, decorate and accessorize photos on the fly.
The storybook is ideal for parents and children to enjoy together, says Lauren Epstein, Associate Brand Manager for Goldfish. “We thought this would be a great way to introduce ‘mom’ to Finn & Friends while giving her a quick and easy way to spend quality time with her kids,” she explained. Search for “Finn & Friends” in your device’s app store to download.
