Proud and loud about our OUTstanding Leaders serving as LGBT allies

The Financial Times, in partnership with OUTstanding, an LGBT network for business leaders and allies, names Bethmara Kessler, Senior Vice President of Integrated Global Services, to the Top 100 Leading LGBT+ Executives list, and Ed Carolan, President of Campbell Fresh, to the Top 30 Leading Ally Executives list for 2016.

Bethmara serves as the Business Advisor for OPEN, our LGBT employee network, where she guides the group, along with the co-leads, in creating areas of focus and strategy to impact the business.

Ed is the Executive Sponsor of OPEN and has shown himself to be an authentic leader and ally for our LGBT and ally employees.

“We are incredibly proud to have not just one, but two of our leaders recognized for their commitment to diversity and inclusion,” said Elizabeth Morrison, Global Director Workforce Diversity & Inclusion.

“This is Bethmara’s second year winning this award, which is a testament to her ongoing passion, and Ed’s first, which demonstrates his innovation in the ally space and evidence that more Campbell leaders are leaning into our values and commitment to inclusion for all team members.”

The OUTstanding Leading LGBT+ Executives category recognizes 100 senior role models who are helping to make the workplace a more welcoming environment and the Leading Ally Executives category recognizes the contribution of 30 senior executives who are “outspoken and unwavering” in their support for LGBT+ people in the workplace.
