Campbell Soup Company Donates $5,000 to Snohomish County United Way

Funds Will Be Given to the United Way, Housing Hope, Little Red School House and the Everett Food Bank

CAMDEN, N.J., Oct 13, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Campbell Soup Company’s (NYSE:CPB) Everett plant announced today that it will donate $5,000 to the Snohomish County United Way.


Campbell’s StockPot team based in Everett, Washington, was awarded the Snohomish County United Way’s Websmart Cup last year for its ongoing and steadfast commitment to the organization.


“Our employees won an internal contest at Campbell, and were given the opportunity to donate $5,000 to the charity of their choice,” said Mike Miller, Vice President of Campus Operations-StockPot, Campbell Soup Company. “We are thrilled to be able to donate these funds and to have the opportunity to support United Way of Snohomish County, Housing Hope, Little Red School House and the Everett Food Bank – all of which are close to our hearts at StockPot.”


Each of the four organizations will be presented with a check of $1,250 from a Campbell employee.


This year alone, StockPot employees have volunteered more than 300 hours and donated over $72,000 to local organizations. Eighty-four percent of StockPot employees participate in the United Way Giving Campaign.
