Campbell Soup Company Names Adam Kmiec Director, Digital Marketing and Social Media

CAMDEN, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May. 17, 2012–
Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) today announced the
appointment of Adam Kmiec as Director, Digital Marketing and Social
Media. Kmiec, 32, will lead Campbell’s digital marketing and social
media efforts to enhance consumer demand and build equity for the
company and its brands.

Kmiec will be responsible for leading a global digital marketing and
social media strategy that encompasses both consumer-facing
communications and corporate initiatives. This will involve providing
leadership, coordination and oversight of Campbell’s digital and social
media activities and policies. He will report to Andrew Brennan, Vice
President, Global Strategy, Advertising and Design, and will be based at
the company’s world headquarters in Camden, New Jersey. In this role,
Kmiec will work closely with Global Communications, Consumer Affairs,
Investor Relations, Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility
functions and business unit marketing teams.

Kmiec joins Campbell from Walgreens, where he served as Director, Social
Media, and established programs that helped advance the company’s
digital marketing efforts. He was also responsible for implementing and
overseeing social media policies and governance across Walgreens
corporate communications and its nearly 8,000 retail locations,
including the use of social media tools for employee communications.

Kmiec possesses diverse experience with interactive agencies,
consultancies and corporations. Prior to Walgreens, Kmiec was Senior
Vice President of Interactive Marketing Innovation at Pittsburgh-based
MARC USA. Prior to that, he held the role of Manager of Interactive
Marketing at ConAgra Foods. Earlier in his career, Kmiec worked for
Draft Worldwide, Leo Burnett and Fallon.

Kmiec earned his bachelor of science degree in business, marketing and
advertising from University of Minnesota. He is a regular speaker at
industry conferences.
