A Serious Issue

Hunger continues to be a very serious problem in the United
States. According to the USDA, more than 33 million Americans do not
always know where their next meal will come from, including 13 million
children who are affected by hunger.

“We are very excited to again offer consumers the opportunity to
Click for Cans,” said Jeremy Fingerman, President, U.S. Soup –
Campbell Soup Company. “This program offers an immediate and impactful
way for Americans to join us in making a difference in communities
across the country.”

Campbell and the NFL have been working together to tackle hunger
across the country since 1997, with a six-season total donation of
more than 32 million pounds of food that have been donated to
hunger-relief charities across the country. Last season alone, the
Chunky/NFL Tackling Hunger program donated more than 6 million cans of
soup. This season, the goal is to surpass that impressive total.
