With a simple mouse click, NFL fans across the country can help direct much-needed donations to help feed America’s hungry. Campbell’s(R) Chunky soup has officially launched Click for Cans(TM), which is part of Campbell’s season-long Tackling Hunger 2003 effort. Click for Cans is a unique on-line food drive on the Chunky soup website, www.chunky.com. To participate, fans simply need to click on the helmet logo of their favorite NFL team. Click for Cans donations are made over the course of the year to a variety of hunger relief charities across the country, in NFL cities and in many of the 30,000 communities of Campbell retail partners. Click for Cans will run until the 5,000,000 can goal is reached.
A Serious Issue

“We are very excited to again offer consumers the opportunity to Click for Cans,” said Jeremy Fingerman, President, U.S. Soup – Campbell Soup Company. “This program offers an immediate and impactful way for Americans to join us in making a difference in communities across the country.”
Campbell and the NFL have been working together to tackle hunger across the country since 1997, with a six-season total donation of more than 32 million pounds of food that have been donated to hunger-relief charities across the country. Last season alone, the Chunky/NFL Tackling Hunger program donated more than 6 million cans of soup. This season, the goal is to surpass that impressive total.
