CAMDEN, N.J., Oct 06, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) is expanding its great-tasting, popular line of V8 V-Fusion(R)juices with new V8 V-Fusion Smoothies. These smoothies are the first 100-percent fruit and vegetable juice smoothies available in the juice aisle. Deliciously-thick, V8 V-Fusion Smoothies prove people can enjoy the real-fruit smoothie experience at home without a blender or trip to a smoothie bar. Plus, each 8-ounce glass provides both a serving of fruit and a serving of vegetables.

With 5.5 million more people drinking smoothies in 2010 than the previous year,1 there has never been a better time for V8 V-Fusion Smoothies to hit store shelves. The new smoothies are available in three mouth-watering varieties: Strawberry Banana, Wild Berry and Mango.

The V8 V-Fusion Smoothies have no added sugar, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Plus, for 130 calories or less, they provide two grams of fiber, a good source of important vitamins such as A, C and E and contain no dairy.

The new smoothies began appearing in the juice aisle of grocery and mass merchandise stores nationwide in August for the suggested retail price of $3.99 for a 36-ounce bottle. For a limited time, 9.5-ounce bottles also will be available at select Wal-Mart stores nationwide for $0.50.
