Daniel L. Poland joined the company in January 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer. 

Dan leads Campbell’s end-to-end supply chain including procurement, food safety and quality, occupational health and safety, engineering, planning and logistics, as well as our manufacturing locations and our contract manufacturers network, that continue to report into the company’s divisions. He is focused on building high-performing teams and driving execution to continue to deliver growth and ensure we have a resilient, robust, and agile supply chain. Dan is a member of the Operating Committee, which focuses on Board-level matters and the development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan. He reports to the CEO.

Dan brings extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry to the company having served in senior supply chain, operations, plant management and research and development roles both with large, leading corporations and high-growth companies. Prior to joining the company, he was the Chief Operating Officer of KIND Snacks from 2019 through 2021.

Before that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Pinnacle Foods. He spent several years as Vice President of North America Supply Chain for WhiteWave Foods. Earlier in his career, Dan spent approximately 15 years at H.J. Heinz Company, where he held roles ranging from Plant Manager through Chief Supply Chain Officer of Heinz North America. He began his career with Gerber and Nestle.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in agricultural engineering from Michigan State University and his Master of Business Administration in business and finance from the University of Iowa.
